Shabby Chic Sold Flowers by Prima

Directions:

Cover
  1. Paint the outside and inside of front and back covers with Antique White acrylic paint. Let dry and sand edges to distress.
  2. Trace a portion of the cover onto floral paper, cut out, ink, and adhere in place.
  3. Ink edges of ticket die cut page, stitch along seams, and adhere to front.
  4. Attach scallop cardstock sticker to center of cover and adhere resin wreath directly over the top. Embellish center of wreath with a chipboard heart and sticker.
  5. Wrap seam binding around left edge of cover and tie in a double bow near the top.
  6. For the inside of the front cover, trace a potion onto green floral paper, cut out, ink, and adhere.
  7. Embellish with a cardstock date prompt sticker, cotton scrap label with trinket pin, rubons, and cardstock stickers.

For Each Page

  1. Each page is already printed with beautiful prompts for you to fill in with information and memories surrounding baby’s first year. To add your special touch start by stamping images from the Baroque stamp set on pages that don’t have a lot of pre-printed images.
  2. Add a cardstock date prompt sticker or ticket stub die cuts to pages that have more white space and embellish with cardstock stickers, rubons, cotton scraps, adhesive pearls, trinket pins, etc.
  3. To add a bit more character, adhere strips of trim across pages with straight edges so that it extends over the edges of album.
  4. Embellish tag pages with ticket stub die cuts, buttons, ribbon, etc.
  5. The inside of the back cover is a perfect spot to adhere the baby’s feet growth chart. After stamping the inside cover, adhere the chart and embellish with rubons, flower, and button.

Isabelle Pink Green Medallion Paper by Anna Griffin
Isabelle Green Tonal Paper by Anna Griffin
Soft Blue Pearl Flourish by Zva Creative
Sweet Pea Ribbons by Fancy Pants
Homespun Chic Epoxy Stickers (sold out)
Small circle doilies

Directions:

I've been all about making doily flowers lately! They add such a fun and feminine touch to projects.

1. To create a doily flower, just find a small doily. Cut out the center. Fan fold the lace part.

2. Secure the ends with a glue dot.3. Then add a center. You could use a sticker, a smaller flower or a circle of felt with jewels added. I chose to use an epoxy center on this one.

1. To create the card, cut the cardstock to create a 4.25 by 5.5" base.
2. Cut a doily in half and adhere it so that a bit is hanging off the left side.
3. Cut a piece of patterned paper smaller than the base.
4. Cut the pink and green quarter circle from the ___ paper. Adhere to top of the card.
5. Add a strip of green paper and a piece of yellow ric rac.
6. Adhere the pearl flourish and then the flower. Adhere the panel to the card base.

2. Cut a 5"x4" piece of pattern paper and adhere to front. Adhere trim to top of paper, envelope to right side, and "G" alphabet card to center. Spray lightly with lemongrass glimmer mist.
3. Adhere flower & butterfly branch to left side. Run twine through button and adhere to lower left side.
4. For inside cover page cut pattern paper to fit, add photo, flower chipboard piece and cut out butterfly.
5. For next page use calendar page adding calendar month (sprayed with glimmer mist) to lower corner.
6. After calendar page spray envelope with glimmer mist, add label and embellish.
7. Repeat steps 5 &6 for the entire planting season, alternating calendar page and seed envelope. The last page will be your cardboard back.
8. Punch holes in cover and continue lining up and punching through all calendar pages and envelopes until you get to the back cover. Run metal rings through holes and tie vine ribbon around ring.
Use the album to keep track of planting, collecting seeds for next year, harvest time, and recording how things are growing ect. :)
