Welcome Betsy Veldman!!

We are very excited to have the incredibly talented Betsy Veldman with us this month! She is one busy lady, you can see her work in numerous publications, manufacturer blogs & webpages as well as Home Shopping Network! Check out her fun, colorful scraproom.....love the huge organized area! See what her Favorite things are from the store and make sure to leave a comment on this thread for a chance to win those goodies! Winner will be picked by a random number generator and announced on September 16th.

Meet Betsy:

I am a stay-at-home-mom to three children, Jonathan (almost 8), Julia (5), and Katie (15 months). My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this year. We live in a small, one-stop-light town in the northwest corner of Iowa. I love it here and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else and I love that I'm surrounded by my family. My children have three grandma's and one grandpa all within 6 blocks. What more could you want?! :-)

Like many people I started scrapbooking after the birth of my first child. I wasn't instantly hooked, and actually set it aside for a few years. Then a friend invited me to a workshop. There I learned that people were using buttons. And ribbon. And those cool little eyelet thingies. THEN I was hooked. I immediately went home and went through my sewing supplies (which was my obsession at the time) and discovered that many of them could also be used in my scrapbooks. Not too much longer after that I discovered card-making and stamping as well as home decor and paper crafted gifts. I have a love for all types of paper crafting. I count myself truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work for several manufacturers and magazines, doing what I love and being able to stay home with my children. It is absolutely a dream come true. I am also very excited that Cindy has given me the opportunity to be her guest. She has a beautiful site....so full of wonderful inspiration...the products and the people who bring them to life. Thank you Cindy!
